Dr. Lizette Valiente

Pediatric Dentist

Dr-Lizette-ValienteDr. Valiente is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist with a passion for instilling a positive experience in her patients. Dr. Valiente received her undergraduate degree at Florida International University, where she received a bachelor's degree in biological sciences. She completed her dental degree (D.M.D.) at Nova Southeastern University and upon completion, worked for two years as a general dentist before deciding to return to Nova Southeastern University to earn her specialty degree in pediatric dentistry. During her extensive post-doctoral training, Dr. Valiente worked at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital as well as Broward General Hospital treating children with extensive dental needs. In addition, she received rigorous training in the use of oral sedatives for children with dental fear and is devoted to working with young children as well as patients with special needs to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere for their dental care. She is trained in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and has professional affiliations with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Florida Dental Association. Dr. Valiente currently practices out of our Doral and Pembroke Pines locations.

Dr. Valiente believes in community service; she has participated in mission trips to Jamaica and has been part of community events such as Give Kids a Smile. She is originally from Cartagena, Colombia and has lived in South Florida for the last 21 years. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and is an avid dog lover.

Dr. Ankur Agrawal 

Pediatric Dentist

Dr-Ankur-AgrawalDr. Ankur Agrawal is a Board-Eligible Pediatric Dentist who truly cares for the children he treats and strives to provide the best possible dental experience for his patients. He has a true passion for working with children. Dr. Agrawal was born and raised in the Kendall suburb of Miami, Florida. Dr. Agrawal is a proud native of South Florida and speaks Spanish fluently! He has a vibrant and positive energy that is transmitted when working with his patients.

Dr. Agrawal obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, where he received a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Agrawal worked as a general dentist for six years in Jacksonville and Miami. While working as a general dentist, he gained valuable experience with patients of all ages. His love and passion for treating children became a reality when he decided to complete a two-year residency program in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Agrawal earned his specialty degree in pediatric dentistry at Nova Southeastern University. During his post-doctoral training, Dr. Agrawal worked at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital to treat children with extensive dental needs and patients with complex medical conditions. He received extensive training with special needs patients, children with autism and other behavioral disorders, oral conscious sedation and hospital dentistry.

Giving back to underserved children in the world is another one of Dr. Agrawal’s passions in life. He has participated in several mission trips to the underserved countries of Bolivia and the Dominican Republic. He provided essential and emergency dental care to the children of these rural and underserved areas. Dr. Agrawal has experience working with children who suffer from cleft lip/palate and other craniofacial anomalies. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

During his spare time, Dr. Agrawal enjoys riding his bike along the causeway in Miami Beach, playing sports, spending time with family, and traveling.

Dr. Nicole Erazo

Dr. Nicole Erazo is a pediatric dentist that strives to create fun, safe, and trusting environment for children and their families.

She earned her doctorate in dental surgery (DDS) from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City where she was awarded the Divisional Excellence in Behavioral Science. She participated in various philanthropic activities including the Micheal C Yuan Free Dental Clinic, Give Kids a Smile, and the KIDS organization to provide dental services to children in Cambodia.

Following her dental school training she was awarded a U.S. Department of Health HRSA sponsored Post-Doctoral Public Health Fellowship to earn her Masters in Public Health (MPH) at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Her concentration was in general public health with an emphasis on preventive services, capacity building in national and international communities, and health policy.

As a Miami native, she was thrilled to return to her hometown and continue her specialized training at the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital to obtain her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. She trained to provide comprehensive oral health care to infants and children through adolescence, including those with complex medical histories and special healthcare needs. She worked with the Craniofacial team including orthodontists and obtained extensive training in conscious sedation and general anesthesia. She has presented her research at national conferences and was awarded first place resident abstract for original research.

Dr. Erazo is BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Life Support) certified. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Xi Psi Phi Professional Dental Fraternity.

In her spare time she enjoys learning a new language (Dr. Erazo Is fluent in English, Spanish, and currently learning French), traveling, and spending time with her family and her dog, Scottie.
